Shipping + Returns

Shipping + Order Fulfilment

Most products are either part handcrafted and homemade or slowly stitched to perfection and can take 2 - 4 weeks until fulfilled and delivered to your door (absolute worst case scenario being 4 weeks). If however, the item(s) ordered are currently in stock they will be sent off within 2 business days.

If your order will be delayed any longer than usual, I will notify you as soon as possible. In the case that your order is urgent please make sure to send me a message so we can sort something out.

Postage Delivery Times

Most of my designs are first sent off to my trusted manufacturers and then sent back to me on a variety of products. Once received, they are over checked, labelled, finished and packaged personally at my home studio in Shoalwater WA. They are then shipped via Australian Post with an expected local and national delivery date of 2-7 business days from date of shipment. International orders will take longer.

Packaging + Shipping Costs

All other orders are protected by extra thick padded postal bags or high quality mailing tubes. All orders are carrier calculated based on weight so that you aren't paying unecessary shipping costs.

Australian orders are shipped with standard shipping. International orders are sent to most countries, I use a Standard AusPost Overseas Air Delivery. I am not responsible for any additional customs fees or duties incurred on international shipments as these are the responsibility of the purchaser.

Easy Returns + Exchanges

I take so much pride in providing you with high quality products straight from my perfectionist heart and soul. If you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason, you can send back the undamaged product(s) within 14 days of receipt and I will be happy to refund you for the merchandise cost or replace your order. After 14 days have passed I cannot replace or refund your purchase. 

**Please note that all competition draws, sale items, personalised/customised products, and original artworks are final-sale and cannot be returned unless faulty. Shipping costs are unfortunately non-refundable also.

To be eligible for a return or replacement, your item(s) must be unused, unworn, in the same condition that you received them, and in, or with the original packaging. Products must be shipped with all of their original packaging even if ripped or opened, to be eligible for a refund/replacement.

Before returning your item please contact or email me at caitlin@thesewnseed.com referencing your order number, and giving me a brief description as to why you are making the return. Please also let me know if you’re wanting a refund or a replacement and I will reply with a return address.

You will be responsible for paying for your own return shipping costs for your item(s). Once your items are received, and your return is approved, either the merchandise cost will be credited back to your original method of payment OR I will process a replacement order for you.

Damaged Products

Uh Oh! I try my best to pad and ship things in a way that prevents breakage or bending of any kind, but if your order arrives damaged, please take a photo as I need it to contact Australia Post and email me immediately. I will be sure to send out a new product to you as soon as possible.

Faulty Products

Although this is something I wish could never happen, it is at times a real possibility when working with external manufacturers that I have no quality control over. I want to sort out any issues with faulty items straightaway so as soon as you discover a fault, please contact or email me at caitlin@thesewnseed.com with your:
